DAY 1: LIMA IN:
Upon arrival to Lima`s airport, reception and transfer to the hotel.
Overnight in Lima: Casa Andina Classic

DAY 2: LIMA – CUSCO – CITY TOUR:
Transfer to Lima`s airport to take the flight to Cusco.
Arrival to Cusco`s airport, reception and transfer to the hotel. Time to acclimatise to the altitude.
At 14:00 your private guide will take you on a half day tour of Cusco. We will start with a visit to the Cathedral, built over 450 years ago, and its fine collection of paintings of the Cusqueñan School. After this, we will visit the Koricancha, the most sumptuous temple of the Inca culture, which was dedicated to worship the sun. Next, we will drive to the magnificent ruins of Sacsayhuaman and its impressive rocky constructions, followed by Kenko, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay. Return to the hotel. (Breakfast)

DAY 3: SACRED VALLEY TOUR:
In the Morning we will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to the Sacred Valley, arriving to Pisac town, where you will visit the market that is also a good reason to make a stop here, where you will find some unique and authentic souvenirs. Then, you will visit the archaeological place, the Inca site remain somewhat mysterious as to what their absolute purpose was, but it seems likely that they were part of a settlement along a vital Inca road. With the Amazon rain forest to the east of the mountains, it is generally understood that Pisac provided a connecting point of sorts between the highlands and the jungle. After this visit you will be transferred to the restaurant for lunch. After lunch, passengers will be transferred to Ollantaytambo, one of the last Inca cities remaining still on foot. You will enjoy a guided visit to the Inca site that crowns the town. After this activity you will be transferred to your hotel. (Breakfast, Lunch)

DAY 4: SHORT INCA TRAIL 2DAYS/1NIGHT: OLLANTAYTAMBO – KM 104 – MACHUPICCHU:
You will be transferred from the hotel to Ollantaytambo train station, your train will go up to 104 km. At this point after checking our entrances and passports with Machu Picchu Park rangers, We will start trekking for approximately 3 hours, up to the well-preserved remains of Wiñay Wayna (2900 m.a.s.l). On the way, we will see beautiful waterfalls, native flora and mountain birds. After lunch, we will have time to rest and enjoy exploring the site with its houses, terraces, towers and local museum, as well as visiting the Inti Punku, the Inca Gate of the Sun, where we will get our first sight of Machu Picchu. We finally cross the ridge that leads to our destination, and the full sight of the greatest archaeological discovery of modern times is reveled. After an overview and orientation about the city of Machu Picchu, you will take the tourist bus that will take you down to Aguas Caliente, where we will spend the night.

DAY 5: MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO:
Very early, we will take the bus to the top of the hill where Machu Picchu citadel is situated, the guide will take you around this spectacular Inca ruins, visiting the most important places. Lunch at the adjacent Sanctuary Lodge hotel. In the late afternoon return to Aguas Calientes, where you will take the train to come back to Cusco, transfer to the hotel (Breakfast, Lunch).

DAY 6: CUSCO – PUNO (TOURIST BUS):
Transfer from your hotel to the bus station, where you will take the special tourist bus to Puno, which offers guided tour to different places on the route, you will visit the church of Andahuaylillas (known as the Sixtina of America), Raqchi (inca constructions), La Raya (the middle point between Cusco and Puno) and Pukara (pre-inca constructions).
Upon arrival to Puno, reception and transfer to the hotel. (Breakfast, Lunch)

DAY 7: FLOATING ISLANDS: UROS – AMANTANI: 2DAYS/1NIGHT:
Transport by motor boat stopping at the Uros Islands for 30 minute where you can see how the families used the totora (Plant that grows in the lake) and they used this for built their houses and other mores. Before departing to the island of Amantani. There are no hotels on Amantani Islands but on arrival the group is split into smaller groups for overnight stays with local families. It is very beautiful and peaceful, and in many ways less spoiled than Taquile. There are six villages and ruins on both of the island’s peaks, Pacha Tata and Pacha Mama, from which there are excellent views. There are also temples and on the shore there is a throne carved out of stone. The residents make beautiful textiles and sell them quite cheaply at the Artensania Cooperative after this we return to the house for sleep. The people are Quechua speakers, but understand Spanish. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

DAY 8: AMANTANI – TAQUILE – PUNO:
After we have our breakfast, we go of Amantani Island to Taquile Island for one hour approximately. In Taquile we will appreciate numerous pre-Inca and Inca ruins and Inca terracing. The island is narrow, only about 1 km wide, and 6-7 km long. There is a cooperative shop on the island that sells exceptional woolen goods which are not cheap but of very fine quality. You will have the opportunity to buy beautiful handmade weavings and collages depicting the life on the islands. The inhabitants on some islands have built small ‘museums’ with stuffed birds inside, or lookout towers to get a better view. After lunch, we will return to Puno.

DAY 9: PUNO – LIMA:
After breakfast and depending of your flight time to Lima, transfer to Juliaca´s airport. (Breakfast)
